“Positively Impacting the Lives of Others Through Public Defense”
The Arkansas Public Defender Commission (APDC) is hosting a Free CLE on Thursday, November 16, 2023, and Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Wyndham Hotel in North Little Rock.
- The CLE will feature attorneys, investigators, and mitigation specialists from across the country to speak on topics that are of importance to public defenders and those that work in the criminal defense field. An unofficial line-up of speakers is attached.
- There will be a minimum of 6 hours of CLE offered each day. Several of these hours can be used toward the 6 hours needed for capital certification. Both days include 5 hours that qualify toward capital certification. We anticipate having one hour of ethics available each day.
- There is no fee to attend this conference. Lunch will be provided on Thursday, November 16, but attendees will be responsible for all other meals. Attendees will also be responsible for overnight accommodations.
